G'day all I am wondering who here carries their bike on the dual cab lux and what they use or have made up to take weight of the tail gate.
I have put my bike on a few times but offen worry about the tailgate being over stressed.
I was going to make up a plate that allows the back wheel to sit on the tail gate and take the weight off it.
Anyway ideas or solutions would be great as I wouldnt mind using it for two bikes.

Cheers.

It will be fine, once you tye down the front there is not much weight on the back wheel, if it is tyed down correctly you should be able to bush the back wheel across (that is why i use a strap for the rear wheel)

yeah I didnt think there was much weight in it but i wouldnt mind making up a c channel grid for two bikes and with extra two inside tire down points. C channel wouldnt bolt in, sheer weight on it would be enough to hold it all in place.
