Anyone converted thier pionts GQ 4.2 to electronic?

whats involved ?

pertronix kits awsome, either the standard or lobe sensing.
The standard kit needs you to machine the shaft down so u can fit the spacer collor, not hard at all. I just hooked it up the dizzy up to a drill in the vice and spun it slowly while another person using the belt sander.
lobe sesning uses the orginal lobes that would normally lift the points, bit easier.

did you change coil as well ,if so did you have any problems
i tried 3 ohm flame thrower coil on w/end an could not get it to start
tried with ballast connected an without it
hooked original coil back up an it started straight away
