what to do to lift a toyota blizzard?

Post by mrflibbles »

hi there a mate has a toyota blizzard, mild mods so far, 15x7 rims with 10r15's on it. it is currently registered, but it is more of a fun truck than anything else.
question is should we just get the leaves all reset up a couple of inches or are there other oprions to get some hieght out of it eg SOA or extended shackles?
anybody attempted this? any hints? what did you use? what shocks to use?
eventually want to put 33-35 inch tyres on it!

(keep in mind i am a cheapskate so the cheaper the better!)

springover can be cheap if you have time and skills and tools. extended shackles are cheap and easy. leaf resets are pretty expensive. go the shackles first, get some 6 - 8mm plate, cut and drill, put a cross brace in the middle, it's a cheap 1" lift.
