How to do alignment after modifying steering

Post by patrolla »

hi
just wondering what the best way to do an alignment is. i've just replaced the gq steering box with a gu and put in a chromoly drag link. obviously want to make sure the alignment is right so the tryes don't get chewed up.
cheers

get a shop to do it, how ever if you havnt touched the rear steering arm then theoretically the alignment wont change, just the steering wheel position. if your too tight to get a shop to do it you can use 2 lengths of string from the front most corner of one rim to the other, then the rear most corner to the other and keep adjusting till the lengths are equal
