Double tuffs and calmini axels

Post by badger »

Ive recently bought a Nt hard top with the plans to do short course style events in. I want to swap to WT diffs but am wondering how will thise diffs handle aggresive 33/4s and a 16v vitara motor if i install double tuffs and the calminis?
Is it nesesary to do these upgrades? or am i better running bigger diffs instead (i know this opens a whole new kettle of fish with lessened ground clearance and engineering, so i want to avoid it unless im wasting my time with the zook gear)
Will i then start having trouble with CW&P's?

I would also like to stick to zuk gear if its viable because it allows me to run in more "stock classes" and there seems to be a great parts following for zuk stuff in the states

cheers

With upgraded axles and cv's I think you will be fine on agressive 33's or 34's in comps. Alot of the victorian guys run 34" swampers on stock axles in mostly low traction surfaces. So upgraded axles with some more traction should be ok.
