engine number on 2h WHERE IS IT????

Hey

Where is the engine number located on a 2h diesel motor, its in a 89 hj75 ute.

Cant find it, mechanic cant find it, cant write out my rwc until he sights the engine no.

If any1 has a pic or good description of where it is please help.

LHS of engine block, towards the flywheel. May be hidden behind extractors/exhaust.

Well after actually getting of my arse I looked. it only says 2H where I mentioned before. The two places for the engine number I can think of is your rego sticker, or the placard on the firewall. Joel

its about 3" above where it says 2H. u were correct
