75 diff centre in 80

Post by Ricko »

Hey just checking to see whether the rear diff centre in a 75 series (troopy, 2H, in case it matters) will fit in an 80 rear. It also has a lockright diff lock, will that cause any problems? Thanks heaps.

as long as the ratios match your front it will be fine.
the early 75 pinions are a smaller dia than the later(post 91) if you're going to put big hp through it.

If its a part time 80, no prob, but if it is a constant, problems...all u would need to do is put the centre, bearings and all in your 80 ringear...
Confucious say...man who argue with idiot, worserer himself
