I have used electronic ignition most of my life, and only looked into ignition systems in the last few years.
My lil toy is a grunt machine down low, but about 100 is a rare high speed run.
Bung it in 5th and its useless, holds that about it.
I have been searching and it seems to me this could be the timing, not enuf advance under load, initial is about 10 but do not know what total is.
Can anyone help out, what should advance be for my toy, initial and total.
80k is lovely, 90k is a bit iffy, and 100 is a dy for a party for the ole dear.

If it breaks, excellent, time for an upgrade
what driveline are you running? all stock 1.3 or 1ltr or have you changed anything. Tyres will kill top speed in a zook as the sad little motors dont have enough grunt to push them that fast.
i can do 100 in mine in 4th with it revvin its nuts off but drop it into 5th and it slowly drops away and wants to coast at 90ish. Im running the stock 1.3ltr and 5 speed with 1ltr t/case and 3.9 diffs so my gearing is a bit better.

Lots of custom gear as I cant afford the proper stuff.

10 degrees static advance and 34-36 degrees total advance.
But as B4T said its more likely the tyres are killing it than the timing.
Gears are your friend..
Lowrangeoffroad.com 6.5:1 gearsets reduce high range by 20% so with 31's or(a bit) bigger you'll be back to the revs you need to hold 100km/h or slightly more.
