was cleaning the inside of the windscreen the other day and broke me rear view mirror off.
it is the sort with three screws through a triangle plate into the roor and the mirror part looks as though it clips in with a single screw up the centre of a little plastic piece that secrures in place...
question is: can u just buy the plate and little bit by themselves or is a trip to the wreckers on the cards??
cheers

Re: rear view mirror problem.
You can buy the small triangle part from Nissan for bout 10... I went thru 2 of em, threw a wallet in the car once, perfect hit on mirror.. Its designed to break and be replaceable.rumpig89 wrote:question is: can u just buy the plate and little bit by themselves or is a trip to the wreckers on the cards??

+1. Mine was broken when I bought the car but had been glued on, kept coming back off again. New part was less than $20 from Nissan. Its a safety thing in case of an accident apparently.bogged wrote:You can buy the small triangle part from Nissan for bout 10...
