are ferozas rwd when not in 4wd
Hi im looking for a 4wd and have been trying to find out wether ferozas are rwd when not in 4wd, havent been able to find the answer and figured you guys would know the best! Also are parts hards to find/ more expensive than say suzuki vitaras?? any help would be appreciated
Yes, they are RWD when in 2WD. So are vitaras.
Parts availability is superior for vitaras, and there are lots of aftermarket upgrade parts for Vitaras, not the case for Feroza.
Steve.

Aus Ferozas are RWD when not in 4WD, however different countries had other options. Japan had full time 4WD with centre diff - but no low range, some Asian countries got 2WD only versions.
If your talking about STANDARD parts the Feroza's are a mixed bag. Engine wise they share parts with Applauses and parts costs are lower than Suzuki.
BUT - once you move away from there parts are generally the same or more expensive as the numbers sold were much lower.
And as Steve says - for aftermarket parts there's not much available for Daihatsu's in general and its quite expensive, Zooks on the other hand have a good supply of relatively cheap aftermarket bits.

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.
