I new to this whole turbo diesel game, i have recently bought a GQ wagon with the TD42 and safari turbo kit. i was thinking of putting a boost gauge on it for curiosity sakes really, and i was wondering where to "tap" the gauge off.
there is the outlet on the intake manifold for the boost compensator on the fuel pump and im assuming that if i changed it to a "T" piece it would be a fine spot to get the feed for the gauge. here is a pic:
That spot should be all good shouldnt it.
thanks.

And that were i "T" mine into.
Some may say its not the right place, but it worked fine for me and didnt upset the tuning of the fuel delivery!

that is a possibility, but the manifold is easier and more accesible. I am lazy you know
will look into it i guess, thanks for the replies
just a quick question too, should i use sealing tape on the connection into the manifold such as gas thread tape?
cheers
