Hey guys
i have just purchased a new draglink for the front of my GQ but i cant for the life if me get the old one off. is there a trick to it? i have tried the old hitting it with a hammer trick, but it does not appear to want to work (and i dont like beating the krap out of things on cars). i have tried the search engine but found no results.
i am in arundel on the gold coast.

I love terra firma - the less firma the more terra :-)
You might need a ball joint puller(i think that's what they're called) or any othe kind of steel wedge. Have you whacked the bolt up real hard? This should free it, the things knackered anyway so it doesn't matter if you bugger it further.

easiest way is to hit the actual pitman arm around the rod end and the diff knuckle again around the rod end. it will POP out. use a bolster hammer or something large and heavy with a short handle.
or beat the shit out of the thread from straight bellow. they can take a beating, dont worry, you wont break it by hitting it with a hammer
