gday im a newcomer here i have an 86 mk swb with an l28 and a 5 speed.what do i have to change to put an sd 33 diesel in it?

sorry i should have been more specific.i have been told that i will have to use a diesel bellhousing and diesel front shaft.true or not true?can some one also tell me can i use my current engine and gearbox mounts,any help would be appreciated. thanks

i am pretty sure but i could be wrong that the l28 engine mounts are welded to the chassis further forward than the diesel chassis so you could run into problems there.im sure it was a problem me and dad came across...

anyone else????
