80 series V8 exhaust question

Post by killalux »

Hey guys,
have a question for anyone with a V8 in an 80 series, Where abouts did you bring the exhaust from the passenger side over to the drivers side to go to the back. The only spot i can see is between the auto and the t-case, underneath the adapter. (commo auto)

I was thinking running twins down under each sill and dump them behind the front doors (it a ute), but i think they will sound crappy without a crossover pipe.

I ran a pipe from the drivers side extractor under the sump across to the passenger side to join with the other pipe in a collector then ran one pipe down the passenger side next to the transfer/auto then over the top of the tail shaft back to the drivers side (still one pipe) into a muffler sitting under the drivers seat which then split back into 2 pipes at the end of the muffler whit both going over the top of the chassis crossmember (above the diff) then out both sides just behind each rear tyre. I hope that helps. Also I have the entire system for sale if you want to buy it but I am in Vic :)
