Does anyone know of anyone who can cut my roof off my 60 and weld another one on. the roof now is too rusted out to fix but i've got a another 60 with a good roof on it bit the rest of the body is stuffed in newcastle nsw

Try a couple of panel beaters local to you.

My brother is a panel beater, I will see what he says if its a bitch of a job or not.

theres alot of spot welds around the gutter to drill out

but its not impossible.

Drop the roof out of the donor 60 and see if the roof skin is attached to the structural members in the roof, i dont think it is which would mean just drill all the spot welds around the gutter and cut the corners.

I would think the donor 60 would be suffering some rust aswell, even if it hasnt come through yet. Might be a whole lot of work to find you have a rusty roof anyway.
