4.2 in a 3lt gu

im wanting to put a 4.2 turbo or not desiel engine in the gu. what mods r needed and will it bolt to the 5 speed in it. can i run the turbo from the 3 lt .. any help will be great

im interested in doing this conversion to my 2.8 when the motor dies. any info is apreciated aswell.

Hey mate you cannot run the 3litre zd30 turbo on a 4.2 diesel motor as the 3litre turbo's are a variable vein turbo and run off your ecu, better off using the genuine turbo or something similar.

itll cost around 15G drive in drive out for a good condition td42T fitted and the zd30 thrown out. the box bolts up from memory.
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown

i believe the box behind the ZD30 is exactly the same. other than a spacer on the bellhousing to make room for the duel mass flywheel,

with the 30mm spacer removed the box should bolt up no dramas,
