air box Qs with a diy snorkel

thinking of making a snorkle out of 3inch pipe with rubber bends my only concern is how to connect to the air box cause the intake is on the oppersite side to the inner front gard were the hole is ready for the snorkel, what to do just grab a air box from a 75 series thats if they are differnt,???????

how do after market snorkels over come this problem on the 13Bt do they come with new air box is that how the get to $600?????

cut a new hole and patch up the old one.
