I was just looking to see if anyone makes, has plans for or has any advice for mounting an aircon type compressor to a 4.2p gq with air con.
I still want to keep the air con and dont want to go through all the r&d if someone else already has.
Thanks

Endless Air
It can be done of a job but in the end worth it. I can confirm that endless air do not have a bracket for the petrol 4.2 gq, diesel only. I moved the power steering pump up 5 inches with a bracket, which is used to mount the p/s pump and air compressor. PM Hottiemonster he took some pics of my set up (dont know if they turned out). Pete post the pics if they are worthwhile.

I had one on a Petrol 4.2. It was mounted above the altenator.
I had a bracket with tube pivot across to 2 of the thermostat housing bolts.
Another off the alt adj arm.
Only ran one belt (longer ) around alt/ waterpump. Kept 2nd belt on alt only.
Also had LPG so no aircleaner probs and a 30mm body lift (bonnet clearance
Worked good for 4 years until I sold Mav.

I did the same thing. I think you would have to have a body lift though. If you are going to do it buy the belt first and mount it around the size of the belt.Once the belts get up to that size there is not many choices. You wont regret it. I just mounted a 120amp alternator though which threw out all my bracketry (lifted the pivot point up) so i had to re mount compressor again. So if you are thinking of running a 120amp alternator put that in first. Use a sanden 508 compressor there a dime a dozen and work really well
