mate most of the mods, (ie flamin fab, air freespool, gigglepin top hat) etc can be done by you, they aint that hard, the only thing ya probably cant do is widen your drum , but a fab shop should be able to do it for you if they can weld alright. oh and make sure you brace it, i think pirate4x4.com had some info on bracing the high mount with a widened drum

Tell us what you want done and we can tell you the best way to get it done. But most of it is simple bolt togther after you buy the right bits. If you are trying to save money then modifying a winch isn't in the budget as it will not be cheap anyway you do it!!!!!!
93 Nissan Pathfinder / Terrano Turboed VH45, GQ Trans and T-case, coil overs, hydraulic winch and fair bit of other stuff. (Currently a pile of parts in the workshop)

Not looking at twin motor upgrades but what is worth while doing to them. I already have a 6hp motor and will run a Titan solenoid but what else is worth while doing to them to keep them reliable

ooooooooooh, mate tap 2 air points in the motor, buy a $15 lilo inflator and run it off your "in" power, so when you winch in the lilo inflator pumps air through the motor and cools it :D it could save you $450 one day :D
