what fuel pump to use? - F6A conversion

Post by Org »

Hi all,

Just wondering what fuel pump people have used for their F6A conversions... Internal or external, from what 4b/car etc...

A mate of mine has an external VL pump, could I use that with a regulator?

thanks in advance...

I've done two F6A conversions.

I've used a vitara in tank pump in both cases.

I can see no good reason to use a lift pump/surge tank/feed pump in this application.

Any EFI one.

Ideally, fit the whole vitara pump/pick up into a coil sierra fuel tank and bolt that into your sierra.

Otherwise, you can fit a whole vitara tank (SWB 1.6 EFI) but that's quite a bit of work as none of the mounts line up. It's a nice fit though.
