Have I blown a C.V.???
Had a noticable pop come from the front end this arvo and no "front drive", put in back in 2wd and limped out. Dropped my mate home and turned the wheel to pull out of the gutter(2wd obviously) and heard another obvious "crack".
The diff wouldn't make such a sound whilst the hubs are unlocked surely, and the diff wouldn't make any noise through steering in 2b surely?????

Not to bad for a first CV change. I can do one in around 20min with no air tools and have even done it before without a Jack.
Get used to it Stock CVs are weak.
I suppose it's easy when you don't have any flex
