vitaras - LWB vs SWB

Post by drifta »

hey guys,

just wondering about the differences between the LWB and SWB vitaras in these areas:

- fuel efficiency
- offroad performance

I'm talking about the 1.6Lefi versions that were out between 96 and 98..

also, does the 2.0L v6 use alot more fuel than the 1.6? ive heard that 4cyl engines are better for low down torque.. which means the v6s are kinda useless!?

I was originally thinkin about the swb vitara, but now im pondering lwb (as ill be able to fit my bike in it, and they seem slightly easier to find)
found a 3door 1.6L efi vitara =) pm me for 4x4ing around perth

damn...thats the second good laugh i've had today! now, as far as the 2.0 litre v6 goes have the people who are saying that owned one or more? yes the 2.0 litre 4 banger i wouldn't waste my time with (dealt with too many) but the v6 version is a good motor. yes it drinks more fuel, but more cc's= more power=more fuel. now this is just my opinion but as far as swb stuff goes, i'll get a sierra, lwb wagon stuff i'll stick with my vits, and yes i own 3 ranging from 1.6 efi to 2.7 v6, but like i said, its my opinion. and torque, the v6 has plenty, but much better in auto form.
