Well once again, as I have said in the past, looks like no one is prepared to put their money where their mouth is and do something positive to help promote our industry in a more positive way to the general public. At the time of writing, 122 people have read this and no one has said they'll be there.

Now I can see how Boner59 felt trying to do some charity work. Everyone put their hand up, but how many times did he have to post up asking for payments and pledges? Not enough people giving, and too many taking.

Oh and Ev, bump!

this sounds like an awsome idea, pitty i live in queensland...

i did one of these runs for lukemia foundation, best day, dressed the car up and ourselves....

if one comes to qld i would be definatly interested in going.
we had to raise $250 to enter our car in.. so for the price of your entry fee is really good.

For those of you coming - the pink ribbon rally is on this Saturday. For those who have as ye to put their name down who still want to come, please contact Rick at rick@mudrhino.com.au for catering purposes.

A $20 donation per attendee is required - this will include a hot BBQ breakfast upon arrival. Also we have about $4000 in prizs to give away on the day.

The meeting place in the city is at:

Westgate Park Carpark on Todd Road Pt Melbourne
Melway Ref 42F12
07:15am

From there, everyone will head to the docklands for a photoshoot by
Going4WD. So be there to get your rig on TV! Those who are closer to the park for breakfast can just meet there instead of going all the way to the city if you prefer. Dont forget to dress up your vehicle in as much pink as you can prior to breakfast. Leave about 08:00am.

Along the Monash, Going4WD will be continualy filming whilst driving as well as from several overpasses.

Arrive at Lysterfield Lake Park at about 09:00am. Breakfast should be started before everyones arrival. Dig in!

About 01:30ish everyone should be back at the pub for lunch. Firstly there will be two guest speakers from The National Breast Cancer Foundation giving a speech.

After lunch, presentation of awards. Everyone is welcome to stay as long as you wish. You could head back out to the forest for another play and meet back at the pub, or just stay there as long as you like. In the evening there will be a band in the bistro area.

Hope to see you all there.
