Tech info on Steel Channel needed

OK - probablly a simple question for someone. I'm after some steel channel to build a rear bar from. Looking for a profile like this or similar

and i need to know what its called. like C (or D) Channel or U Channel or I beam or whatever...

Sounds like you want some sort of chamfered c channel???
Off the shelf, I have only seen forms like this:
You will probably need to get a sheet metal place to bend up what you want.

4wd monthly did a rear bar build a couple of issues back, and they used something similar, not sure what its called thou,

Ben the best way you can go is draw the profile you want to scale, and take it to your local engineering shop they usually have a folder there and can make exactly what you want probably up to 8 foot long in length if required, they wont bite you there but you will have to pay, cheers

thanks for the info guys. I suppose if i get it bent up i can make it as deep as i like so i can cut the centre section back as needed to follow the contours of the rear of the wagon as well...

Look for an old ARB or TJM bar and cut the tubes off ??
