I drive a 60series and its always had a nock in the front axil on turning, now on tight right hand turns it has started to growl. My question is would it be cheaper to get a second hand front complete assembly or fix it??

possibly the wheel bearings. to check i t i think you jack up the front so the wheel is off the ground and grab the wheel at 12 and 6 oclock and see if there is any movement, then at 3 and 9 oclock.

willcheck the bearings asap, the noise I hear is probably more of a slow tic rather than a growl on r/h turns thanks any help appreciated.

If you buy another diff assembly, you could be buying someone elses problem thats just as shagged as yours. Your better off fixing your one, they arent hard to do. Just messy and takes abit of time
