NAVARA DIFF RATIOS

Post by zuluwilson »

I have a 1996 D21 Navara Dual Cab 4x4 with the td27 motor and manual box.

I am looking for a lower diff ratio (lower revs for same road speed)

Does anyone know of anything available??

Thanks in advance.

there is a thread somewhere of nissans diffs which covers some of the navara ones.

cheapest way is just to change tires.

just hope you have enough power to push the different ratio/tires.

More than likely 4.8 in a Navara. They share with the Pathfinders so you can put 4.6 or 4.3 ratio diffs. You'll have to do front and rear though.

You'll may have a plate in the engine bay on the drivers side near the firewall that will have HGxx somewhere on it. The xx is the ratio.

A tyre change will be cheaper and easier.
