Hilux power steering

Post by beerdog »

I have a 90 model solid axle truck (in NSW) and my mate has a 93 IFS parts truck (in QLD) and I want to know if the power steering from the IFS truck will fit the solid axle truck?? anyone come across this before? I don't want to freight it all down if it doesn't fit!!

Different Steering box. We use the IFS on Solid axle for "Cross Over Steering". Different setup.

So Answer is NO. Not a Bolt on, straight forward job.

IFS steering box doesn't bolt up to a solid axle frame. An IFS steering box mount kit is needed.
