CV joints

Post by shandy »

hi all
i had a search could not find anything to my liking.

i was wondering in my vitara which had IFS how much more wear is done to the CV joint if i was to put in a 2" suspension lift?

also what have people done to avoid damaging the CV once it is at the greater angle form the lift?

any help would be much appreciated
thanks mitch

they chew up cv boots faster and wear the joint marginaly faster but for the extra height ya got nothin to worry about. the only problem you will have is if you go to a longer shock absorber and run the joints on drop to the point were they bind up and then they will brake
wish list (lockers,lift,endless air,winch,bar,spotties,35s,paint job,turbo,18yrs old hottie
