Who sells Pipemaster

chasing a 1 1/2" pipemaster notch marking tool. cannot find them on google au. I remember seeing them in dirt comp a while back

Sorry I don't quite understand your comment,

do you not think too highly of them? what are your thoughts?

I would think they do not take into account the tube thickness and angle due to thickness.

I want them for areas where I already have 2 tubes intersecting a bend and need to place a third diagonally. On the weekend I nootched one side of the rear braces, rolled and taped paper around the tube, trimmed it to the notch line. I then undid the tape and turned it inside out. worked sweet for marking / notching the other side - saving 20 mins of planning and grinding. The biggest problem is getting out of the car - felt like a snake!

I am doing a roll cage in a drift car at the moment and have spent a while notching the tubes. I have a notch master which helps but is still no good for intercecting bends. I am tig welding it so it needs to be tight as.

Don't get me wrong they are good! but after a while you don't need them.
most notches always need adjusting even with the pipe master. A well planed and thought out notch does save alot of time, just saying that you still have to work for the notch there is no way around it.
There is a device out soon that should help fabs like us to make great notches. keep in contact!
Tig is the way to go, I'm dialed in with the tig and I'll be brave enough to say its quicker and easyer than mig for sure with alot more control.

I like tig because it makes me try harder, and I get more out of my work. seeing work on off road fab net - such as the terrible herbst buggies is why I am in this sport.

Like Chad said they are nice to have on the rare occasion you need it. I've only used mine 5-8 times in the past couple of years.
I'm still working on my tig skills. Getting better.
