81 Petrol Diff ratios same as 82 Diesel?

Ok as in the title.. ive got a 82 sd33 4 speed and have access to a 81 petrol rear diff with a air locker (if it works).. is the ratio the same??

It shoud be if its a l28 4.625, if its a p40 it coud be a 4.11. Its been along time since I payed mq.

Try kingy, I think he is the o/l mq wizz.

The L28 and non turbo SD33 should have 4.625

So another kind of related question can i bench test a airlocker? also what would be the easiest way to do it?
