hey all
can someone tell me the capacity of a 2h engine (toyota)
any major issues to watch for?
i am buying a towtruck with one in it

2h is a 4.0 litre 6cyl engine, pushing out nearly 100hp if i remember correctly. Its going to make for a slow tow truck. Mechanical everything, easy to fix, lots of parts, but really need regular servicing to still be any good in the higher mileages. Can be turbo'd, but dont like big boost.

Good if you are just after reliability and dont need to be anywhere fast.

its just to move machinery from work sites every few weeks.
she will probably do 10,000km a year if lucky and speeds not the issue.
probably love oil every 3-5000km like most older diesels i guess.cheers andrew
