rebuilding a ct20 turbo

Post by one_waz »

after months of slaving over the engine bay of the hilux i finally adapted the ct20 to the old 2.4ltr diesel everything fired up ok, went to crack the return line on the turbo to check oil flow when i realised there was mass oil coming out of the exhaust, my only explanation is that there is a busted seal or something in the turbo, my question is, has anyone out there in OL land ever rebuilt a ct20 themselves? is it easy enough to pull apart and replace seals? or am i better off finding another ct20 somewhere and just using it.

cheers
