what ever you do dont take your truck to motsons they sux all you will get back is a truck that chews fuel and get hot EGT's and then you will have to take it somewhere else to get it fixed. I took mine to WM Motorsport at brendale very happy with the outcome!

What result do you want? 80kw, or 200kw?
What do you use the truck for?
What is your budget?

Brisbane Turbo and Tuning at Wolloongabba. Speak to John. He's very knowledgable and undoubtably the best i have spoken to so far. No BS and not full of industry lingo that is simply crap when you know what your talking about... I had Motsons stage II when i bought mine and took it to him and it's like another truck. I get it serviced there too from now on.

Got a 3" exhaust from Motsons but got a 3" dump pipe from Beaudeserts and it was a marked improvement. Got a power up tune from John at BT&T along with a HD clutch and servie and new injectors... Got 130rwkw with 35's MT's and std diff gears and 992Nm! Very impressed. Not much of an increase in fuel consumption if any and better EGT's holding 530C at full load for 90 Seconds! Boost @ 13.5PSI...

Speak to John - he knows his stuff and let him know what you want to do. I think the Power up was $600 including Dyno Tube Before & After. dollars well spent!

anyone know who tunes D-GAS setups on the TD42s?
got the turbo kit, just gotta get the gas on it, got someone who will sign my gas install off, then its all gonna need a tune.

any ideas?

ive been to motsons a few times, theyre basic work is alright, but the more you talk to them, the more shit they talk.

apparently LPG on a diesel makes bugger all extra power and no increase in economy...everyone running it that ive spoken to must be imagining things

taking mine to WM on friday to have a play with the D-GAS, he seemed quite interested in it all and he certainly knows his shit when talking diesels, so it should be exciting when this thing actually comes on boost like it should and makes some good power :)

will let you know it goes :)

Ill agree with Mike Vine, He didnt make any promises other than it would be much nicer to drive for my 00 GU 4.2

Had him do injectors, pump timing and dyno tune, It is much nicer to drive and also gets better fuel economy now (925klms out of 95 litres all highway) and usually 1100+ from 160lts round town

My ute is std other than snorkel, 3 in exhaust and dump and Whatever they did with it while it was there.

Also had my Hilux done at Highway diesel service and they did a great job on it
