Post by glennyboy »

Is everything about these two models the same apart form that tiny oval badge (Ford), (ie diffs, engine, etc)?

Thanks

hi man,

most early mavs come with aftermarket AC ( dealer fitted)
swaybar release is usually missing
they came with a SHOCKING looking steering wheel on some.

so small insignificant things that you can swap over from an upspec one

but yes, the car is the exact same car as a patrol.
same parts
sama factory built
same spare parts

only thing is the ford offered a sort of mixed bag in terms of diff gears, best thing to do is look at the compliance plate for its ratio
