Post by Remydog05 »

Just wondering if anyone has had 2 inch king springs on an 80 and if you liked them, hated them etc?

Found a cheap set thought they would do til more $$ is availible.

Thanks

I've got 2" Kings in our 105. They were in my 80 before that. I've found them really good with the Rancho adjustables.
I think the backs have sagged just a bit but I did do a few heavily loaded holidays on them.
I've got a second set of rears that are heavy duty. Takes about 30mins to change them over and it holds the back end level when fully loaded for hols.

They flex really well too...

Had them 5 years on my 80 Series GXL and they were great compared with the saggy factory stockies that it came with.

They were not very expensive new either, I think around the $400 mark front and rear.
Keeping the shiny side up! :)
