drive train lift

I have done heaps of engine and gearbox lifts in GQ's. When I had the mod plate done on the last one the engineer said "it is not ileagal and does not need a plate". Remember state to state laws are different and it would depend how you lift it.
My lifts are bolt in and require no chassis or cross member mods.

I take it you allready have a body lift?
My old Lux had a 40mm body lift and drivetrain lift.
I did it with engine mount spacers from Snake racing and a custom transfer case crossmember I made myself.
I gained about 3 1/2 inches more clearance under the transfer all up as the transfer crossmember was made out of 10mm flat bar instead of the poxy pressed up tin of standard.
I think Bubs sells the high clearance crossmembers and I think they can be ordered with drivetrain lift built in.
Paul.
