I have done heaps of engine and gearbox lifts in GQ's. When I had the mod plate done on the last one the engineer said "it is not ileagal and does not need a plate". Remember state to state laws are different and it would depend how you lift it.

My lifts are bolt in and require no chassis or cross member mods.

I take it you allready have a body lift?
My old Lux had a 40mm body lift and drivetrain lift.
I did it with engine mount spacers from Snake racing and a custom transfer case crossmember I made myself.
I gained about 3 1/2 inches more clearance under the transfer all up as the transfer crossmember was made out of 10mm flat bar instead of the poxy pressed up tin of standard.
I think Bubs sells the high clearance crossmembers and I think they can be ordered with drivetrain lift built in.

thanks for feedback guys

ausyota l dohave a body lift of 2inches thinkin of going half inch higher l've looked at snake racings gear some ok some questionable was told by tjm to stay clear reason why no warranty or something wierd but yer

want a flat bellyfrom wat l've read up it's not much work only thing is with the tailshaft will have to be a cv type instead old toyota front will also be cv style as well so big bucks spent for more clearance

nastyroll thanks for the input l'm speaking with an engineer tommorrow bout it so will hopefully bein the works next month
