guys i need some help...i put in a 3in lift and the tailshaft has hit the tank and now it is leaking..i am looking for some1 who can modify my tank asap in melbourne...can some1 please help me
i will pay cash!!!

Nasty...

Might be able to temp fix it.

How big is the gash?

If its small enough, try draining, light sandpaper rub, get some of that metal epoxy glue from repco, (I even think they have specific glue for tank repairs) and give that a go...

But its only a temp fix to get u out of trouble.

yeah im gonna pull the tank out tomorro because i have gas but the tailshaft is actually touching the tank...if i repair it...it will only happen again...any1 else has had this problem

I have seen it happen to a mates GQ, check your panhard rod.

Think that is what was wrong with his, was a bit out.

yea mate it is common for gq's on duel fuel just get yourself a rear adjustable panhard rod and problem will be solved.
GQ LWB TD42, boost, lockers etc

I modded the tank on the girls wagon, when the suspension hits the bumpstop on full tilt the tail shaft will still hit the tank. I had the same problem on my coilcab but I just removed the tank.

I have seen replacement gq tanks from LRA for about 600 max. They might alter the tank you have now. They are building my a custom 140 Litre tank for my comp truck. Dont scare me :lol:

thanks guys..i spoke to patrolapart in lilidale and ha said he has got some tanks that will fit for $250...or i might run a 2nd gas tank im not sure yet
