Ok
I have found a set of Bundera Diffs but they come with 4.88 Gears Right?
I have 6.5:1 in my transfer
I want to run prob 35-36" Tyres
I still have stock 3.7 Suzy diffs atm and with the 33'(32) they are in the perfect rev range etc.
I dont want Suzy to be revving super high on the freeway!
Would it be better to go a lux lower ratio?
I know a Lux centre wont fit in a Bundy housing because of the steer arm on the rear. So i may go Lux front whole diff instead of bundy.
So Many Questions i know.

Not all Bundy's are 4.88s
From memory there were some 4.3s and one of the other ratios in between too.

There are plenty of gearing calculators around. Here is one of them
http://www.izook.com/gearcalc.htm Just drop your current figures in there and then your new figures and you'll soon see how close you are in rpm at a given speed.

Hey BlueSuzy,
I was bored so i did some homework for you:
Assuming you have stock 5spd (0.89), 6.5 tranny gears (1.69) and 4.88 diffs at 62mph = 4104rpm
Assuming you have stock 5spd (0.89), 6.5 tranny gears (1.69) and 4.3 diffs at 62mph = 3616rpm
Assuming you have stock 5spd (0.89), 6.5 tranny gears (1.69) and 4.55 diffs at 62mph = 3826rpm
4.3s look good with your setup

Ah dude i lurve yoo
So thats with the 33/32's eh? or 36's?
Im assuming 36's....Should be cheap to get someones rear luxes ratios when they are upgrading with a swap or sell of my 4.88s

Id keep the 4.88s You will need it down low as it will be doughy pushing 36s round. You will also be sapping hp with bigger running gear and tailshaft angles to run the 36s. Extra rpm will help make up for it.
(ps I have 4.88s 6.5s and 37s)
