im new to all this and have read a bit but not getting a definite answer.
i want to hook up a second battery either in the patrol or on the camper. just want to be able to run some lights and music at night when im camping, and not worry about getting a batt flattery.
so am i best hookin it up on the car or in the camper, can you run the wires throught the existing plug or do you need a seperate one, also if im not driving with the camper on obviouisly the battery aint gonna charge or is there a way around this.
so pretty much after a second battery that i can run me accesoies off then when it goes flat i have another that i can start the car with.
please let me know of the best set up for this situation.
cheers

Dual batteries to camper

Hi THICKNICK, you need to run separate cable from the cranking battery, via a set of 50 amp Anderson plugs, to the camper battery otherwise you are never going to recharge the camper battery
