I've been using Bob Hunt Automatics at Maitland lately and not had any issues, he's been quite good actually helping resolve some issues which i had been having after a botched service at an Automatic Taransmission place at East Maitland (i won't name them, but there is only one there)

I'm somewhat biased as they're family, but a bit further down the road is Wyong Automatics. Members on here and offroaders to boot.

man my housemate said turbo ted was who he was told to see.
but he couldnt get ahold of him.

so he went to barry stace. paid 3 arms and some internal organs but has a TH350 that goes hard in his show car torana.

but i must say the guys at wyong autos above have been bloody helpful on some advice so far.

the thing is getting real bad. i have my 42s on basically 0psi to fit the truck into my shed and it wouldnt move them in 2wd. i put it in double low and it moved it enough for me to put it back into the shed after having another look at it outside.

and... "no officer i dont know how that huge slick of auto fluid got from the bottom of my street up into my driveway and up to my garage door" is the answer i have ready just incase...

Been a few years since i`ve had to get work done, but used to use Glenn Duram @ gateshead used to be also known as Gforce engines. Other than that we used to put our autos in a trailer and take to Sydney, but I know that shop has shut up sadly

I've only ever used Barry Stace which I think is reasonably priced and always does a good job. He has a very good reputation in the Automotive trade in newcastle amongst other Mechanics And Smash Repair shops.

Cheers Mick.
