Helmets - Xtreme events
Just a very quick note for all drivers & codrivers:-
Please make sure that your helmet complies with rules & guidelines as set down by Xtreme 4x4 Sport.
9A. Driver and co-driver (must turn 15 years of age in the Event year) are the only persons allowed in the competing vehicle during an SS. The driver must have a current Driver’s License issued by any motor authority that is recognised under the Motor Traffic Act. Driver and co-driver will wear a certified (Australian Standard AS1698) crash helmet, while in a moving vehicle during an SS.
So please make sure that your helmets have the (Australian Standard AS1698) sticker attached to the outside of helmet, and the helmet shows no sign of damage.
If it fails on any of these 2 points go and buy a new one.
Cheers
David
