Rear bar bolt hole location

Currently building a bar for the rear of my Gq patrol. Will also be build one for my mate.
I'm using the four captive nuts on the chassis to mount the rear bar. Will probally add some more mounting point later but starting from the factory mounts. I measured the position of the mounts on the left chassis rail. Cut and drilled the left mount. This fits perfectly, tryed fitting the same plate on the right chassis rail and one of the captive nuts is 3mm higher.
Is this common on all patrols ? Is nissans quality control a bit slack in this department. Would like to know before making my mates bar, as i would rather build the hole bar and just fit it, rather than have too get him around just to measure all the holes again.

when i made my tube rear bar, i made the mounting plates for one side then duplicated it, and never had a problem, this is on a GQ, i sold that bar and the new owner never mentioned any problems

also did the same on a mates GQ and they were the same,

when i did my cab cut on my gq i found 3-5 mm tollrances in points on the rails and was suprised to say the least

i chopped the back off my chassis, the back was 10mm different to the lower control arm mounts... the front is fine and even to the front spring mounts... the chassis was just 10mm longer on the drivers side.

Thanks for the input. So it seems that nissans quality control is a little to crap. Great !

Wonder how the likes of TJM and ARB get around the problem ? Bloody big holes with lots of slack so they fit every car and wobble all over the place if the bolts are not 100% tight.
Guess i'm going to have measure up my mates car and any other bar i make. Or buy a die grinder.
