ls1 60 series

Post by Lazario »

Hi everyone,
I am thinking of putting a ls1 engine in my 60 series, I currently have a 3f engine and it runs on LPG and petrol. I would like to keep both fuels to get the extra mileage. Any advice or tips in this regard? Is there anything I should look out for before plunging in? how difficult is the licensing/registration/roadworthiness part of it?
Any help would be great.

hey, Should be no probs putting the LS1 in the 60. Rego and mod plate won't be an issue.
Only prob you will have is with the LPG. Using the old venturi LPG systems on an LS1 can result in big HP losses and higher fuel consumption. It is recomended to use only the gas injection systems, but you will be looking at around $4000 for this.
