I made some drawers sheet metal bearing draws for my Discovery. here are some pics when I finished folding the draws and the sides before bolting it together. Will take so pictures if you are intested in making them out of sheetmetal. I made them pretty deep and would not have them any other way they are great.

Here is a jpg of the plans if anyone wants the dwg then you can pm me your email. You should be able to get someone to fold these drawers up off these plans. but you will have to do some machining if you want to run the bearing the way I have.

This is the lastest one I've done for a Disco.
Note the fridge slide and slide out table under. It's very hard to fit a fridge in these as the back is so small. None of the aftermart systems I've seen has a fridge slide for the series 1 discos.

There needs to be a new name for pre-94 Discos.

It normally seams when people are writing that the S1 refers to the post94 300Tdi 3.9, etc.

What about S0.5?:D or S1/2 or Sdamn I wish I had a 94 'cause you can't give away 92 V8i!

I looked at a fairly good 92 Rossingol 3 door V8i, on gas, F&R lockers, 10000lbs Warne Winch, 35 Cooper ST, alloys, etc for $10 000, and he couldn't get any interest. People just rang up and then said, "oh...3.5 92, umm, no thanks!"

I at lease had a look and then decided no at least, was a little too rough inside for me otherwise I might have taken it, pluse I was concerned at how hard it was to sell.

He was going to wreck it last I heard!

They all look bloody excellent, after I've finished my current project, a set of these will be next, mind you even less width in the county. I especially like the fridge configuration, most have just one big drawer, makes access to the beerfridge step ladder material for the girl friend... ;)
Cheers, Gerry........

Hey, the other thing is, what sort of materials are you guys using?, I thought I might use marine ply, but although water proof, it's damn heavy!!.

You dont need marine ply unless you plan on drowning your vehicle and still want the drawers to look good.....
