15inch Rims will they fit on NL GLS

Post by Mad Mac »

Hey,

If i have one of the pajero's that came with the upgraded brakes and 16inch Honeycomb alloys, will 15inch rims fit?

I have tried having a search, but am not 100% sure.

Atm from what i have read it appears that 15inch rims will not fit unless they are of Cruiser offset. Patrol and the pajero offset is not great enough to clear the brake calipers.

Can anyone confirm if cruiser offset 15inch rims will fit?

Cheers

I'm not sure of the answer to that, however if you are looking to offload the factory NL 16x7 rims, I am looking for a set of 5.

i am in the tyre bussiness the will fit ,,, try to get a pos 10 offset .. or if u wanted u could go a 0 offset as long as ya guilds are the ones that come off the metal and are about 3 inch wide they will look great and be better for offroad because of the wider track

Sorry to bring up this old thread, but i didn't realise redreid actually answered my question. I have also confirmed with another person that landcruiser offset 15inch rims will definently fit.

Now to find out if I have the upgraded brakes in my NL Escape or not.

South, I'm not interested in selling my honeycomb alloys, but there have been quite a few sets of those rims advertised in the quokka recently.

Cheers again rredreid1978 for the answer

Bit late I know, but I just put some 15x7's (off a Navara) and there is about 2mm clearance between the rim and the caliper. Not sure if my escape has the upgraded brakes or not (it's a '99) but there is not much clearance at all.

Upgraded brakes on models fitted with ABS and twin airbags (option on Escape and GLS models)
