Post by scott_lenz »

hey guys, i have a stock standard sierra and it is very ruff to drive, like little pot holes feel huge when i run over them. i was wondering if i upgrade my coils and shocks will it make much of a difference or are sierra's just a ruff car to drive?

and if anyone has any ideas on prices to upgrade my coils and shocks with no lift or 2".

cheers guys

What tyre pressures are you running. The tyre placard on mine say to run 20 psi which I used to think was quite low, but that is what I run now. Made the ride a fair bit better, but all in all you have to remember, it is a Sierra and the ride is never going to be great.

I think the best thing to focus on is the shocks, getting a comfortable shock. We have Ultima struts and shocks for $380 for the set of 4 including freight.

How much for just the front struts?
