Suspension lift expectations

Post by HJ60 »

I've just had new suspension installed with a 50mm lift on my HJ61.
Axle to bump stop clearance in the front is approx 65mm. My expectation is that the lift should be additional to the stock height (45mm). So I'm expecting 95mm, am i wrong?

yes, but depends on the weight of the vehicle too... if you're carrying a lot of stuff its gonna ride low... then theres the whole manufacturing process to take into account too.

The lift factor of off the shelf springs is only a guide, some get 3" from a 2" kit, some only get 1"... luck of the draw.
