Post by THICKNICK »

gday lads,

just purchased a gq, and has no pressure in the clutch. when i bought it, it had no fluid in it what so ever, topped that up so now i can just get it into gear, but still really soft, just replaced the flexible hoses and still no success. any ideas????????/

you did bleed it all right? right?

if not that, i'd be checking your piston washers in the slave cylinder near the fire wall, pull it apart and replace the seals.

it may help./

thanks all tis all sorted

pulled the slave cylinder off and it fell apart in my hands, was rooted, chucked another one in and  all good

just annoying that it was down the mechanics today because of this and they said flexi hoses, they whacked em on , gave it back to me sayin shes all good, just to drive it away exactly the same way it went in. will pay em a visit tomorrow

cheers again.
