ifs box and high steer, check out a few of the zooks in members, I think tim - Reedzook used this setup though not a proper high steer kit and has pics of it!

Consider the landcruiser boxes with forward facing pitman arms too. Depending on diff location, you will run into issues with the front body mount and crossmember running the IFS box.

The "perfect" toyota box would be an IFS LHD hilux box.

I think he used a 60 series box (forward facing pitman) and crossover steer if you're talking about his old LWB.

Just a guess, maybe because when mounted on a RHD the box sits in the original zook position (inside the chassis rail) and situates the pitman closer to the standard zook position.

that makes sense. I was trying to work out in my head how an inside mounted LHD steering box would work in RHD :? .

i ran a 60 series box
i have also helped fit a ifs box

60 is better if you have your diff a fair way forward
ifs box has trouble clearing the front body/clip mount

i would rather my box on the outside of the chassis (of course if you can get it to fit without tires turning into it) outside the rail = longer draglink = less bump steer

All true redzook. Axle width and axle location have a huge bearing on what's possible.

I ruled out forward pitman boxes based on axle location as it gets too crowded between shock mount, body mounts and engine mounts with the diff in RUF location.

I also don't like the look of boxes outside the chassis, but that's just me.
